He went straight from loosing his parents, his guidance and back up...to the role of the parent and glue that holds his relationship with Christopher together. Not to mention his ventures to find the modern 20 something job such as editorial work at independant mags. It is a stream of conscious style work, weaving its way around like the worries, loves, and thoughts of David Eggars.
A fantastic story, well written and easily read, though at times confusing and make one think for a while. That's the good stuff in book though!
